Message from our Founders
|
 Thanks for all the great letters of encouragement and understanding we received from our last newsletter. It was not an easy decision to put our beloved creation up for sale so the compassion we have received from the community makes our decision easier.
Many of you know that Ken and I have had our own health challenges before and during the creation of Angel's. Dealing with and overcoming the challenges inspired the creation of Angel's in the first place.
With our new inward focus, we are looking forward to dealing more effectively with our own health issues. Our biggest challenge has been Lymes disease as well as a small battery of other diseases relating to stress. Contrary to what you may have heard, a raw food diet does not cure all diseases, so we will be trying new things as usual. You can look forward to our results in the new year.
This newletter will look back on some of the highlights of 2009 and give some details on the sale of Angels. You know we love hearing from you, so please keep those replies coming.

Angel's is a perfect turn key operation for any venture like a B&B, Retreat Center, Health Center, Organic Farm, Research Center, Education Facility or all of the above.
We are asking $1.5 million for everything. This includes every piece of equipment and furniture. All aspects of the businesses at Angel's are included as well on a non-exclusive basis. Highlights and Reflections
|
2009 was an amazing years for us filled with great people and events that passed through our lives on educational, professional and personal levels. We reached more people this year than any other before.
We would like to thank all of our great volunteers from 2009, Ellen Atkin, Claire Stone, Aeon Pi, Natalie Pardune, Ed Snowhawk, and everyone else. In addition we want to thank all volunteers and staff from previous years who had a hand in making Angels what it is. We also recognize all the bright lights that were drawn to us through nothing less than spiritual and divine guidance. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your positive and loving intentions. We also want to thank Barbara Mikula who worked on, sorted through and finalized our websites.
 Our biggest highlight in 2009 was definitely hosting the Raw Union Festival in June. It was a rare chance for many personalities and educators in the natural heath, living foods movement to come together, share, laugh and love. We thank Matt Monarch and Angela Stokes-Monarch for their amazing skills with people and events. We are truly blessed to have hosted their wedding on the summer solstice. Many blessings forward on their future lives together.

We know we will be taking all the love and support we recieved in 2009 with us as we leave Angels and create ourselves a new platform. Our work is really just beginning. With everlasting gratitude, thanks to everyone who touched our lives through our work in 2009. |
Holiday Recipes from Angel's Kitchen

Jingle Balls (hehe) (all organic ingredients)
3 oz of Chocolate (baking chocolate works best but can you choose)
1 cup Honey
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 Cup Crushed Nuts
1/2 Cup Raisins
1/2 Cup Coconut Flakes
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
Mix above ingredients in food processer
Roll mix into balls about the size of 1/2 dollar, set aside.
In a food processer...
1 peeled, cored Apple
1/2 cup cranberries
1 tbs honey or agave
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Now make a thumb sized indent on the top of each ball and spoon your Apple mix into ea. one.
Christmas Clusters
2 cups crushed almonds
6 Dates soaked
1/2 cup Honey
Follow same directions as above.
Holiday Hazelnut Delight
2 cups Hazelnuts
5 cups Water
1/4 tsp Vanilla, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon
1/8 cup Agave or Honey (or if you prefer Stevia, just a few drops of that)
Blend, strain, ENJOY!

Organic Acres
|
We just found out about this new concept in growing, buying and selling organic food. In fact, we are even a little jealous that we didn't think of it ourselves. But, we are happy to see another company going forward with a great idea. It is called Organic Acres and it is based in Dayton Oregon, just up state from us.
It is a MLM company..... (hey where did everyone go.... ?) but don't let that scare you off. The concept is great. The idea is to buy a full or half garden of organic food of your choosing. The folks at Organic Acres will look after it for you and ship it to your door when it is ready. The surplus can be sold off through their market, donated to charity or handed out to your neighbours. They have thought of everything here. After all the mathematical wizardry that usually accompanies an MLM marketing plan, you can wind up getting your organic food for free.
There are a lot of incentives right now since the company is actually pre-launch. You can pre-register for free here and the first 2000 people to join will become part owners of the company at 2%. We are looking forward to the future of this smart, young company.

Although we know our time is drawing short here at the farm, we are still hosting our regular potlucks with a movie showing, on the last Friday of every month. If you havn't yet checked it out, now would be the time.
In 2010 we will be working on our first book and developing our own line of subtle energy enhanced products. (Yes, we do have a plan).
